Sexual Violence -- Early Age

The Center for Disease Control reported some recent findings on sexual violence.  The article states that 30% of rape victims are assaulted between the ages of 11-17.  Twelve percent were 10 or younger.  After the release of these findings it was stated that "prevention efforts should start early."  You can read the article here:

Rape Has Long-Lasting Health Effects

USA Today recently reported some findings on the long-term health effects of rape.  The article went on to say that one in five women (in the study) reported that they had been raped.
